I am so glad that I'm part of the Musical.
Well, contributing. Or maybe, supporting !
Musical band ! Yay !
Heard from Colin that not many schools usually have 80% of the band formed by students. There'll be professionals covering for the casts most of the time. But, we are different ! We made HISTORY ! I'm so happy ! Yes!
Today's full run was a good exposure and experience for me !
Basically, really get to feel how is it like to " Feel Important " in the Musical. Got so tensed up during full run that I'll miss notes all the time.
And, the best part was. I did SIGHT READING ! For quite a few songs. Well, I didn't really know how it sound like. I just followed Colin and play. He's professional man. Real pro !
And I feel satisfied ! I wanna practice more and really enjoy this Musical experience. At least I get to understand how things work on stage. It's totally different from being an audience. Timings and accuracy ! Dynamics and vamps ! Cool !
So basically, we did all the songs that we're supposed to do. Including those that we haven't really learn yet. I need to learn so many songs all of a sudden . Well, thanks to Colin ! He's great man, I don't know how to describe.
I wanna look forward to 2nd August. As Chermaine had said, We'll be the brightest stars. I think that applies to all of the people involved in putting up a good show. We'll make a good one. No worries.
Working for plays and musicals seems rather awesome and cool. Maybe I wanna work as that in the future ? ha !
